About Greg
Greg Wehner is a former reporter at the Southampton Press, newspaper of record for the seven villages and 16 hamlets in the Hamptons of Long Island, in New York. Greg’s solid relationships with community leaders and politicians enabled him to keep the pulse on what was happening throughout the Town of Southampton. With a proven track record of asking provocative questions and getting answers, Greg kept the community informed about projects that could ravage a neighborhood, political shenanigans, the muddying of waters during elections, court cases, crime, and environmental developments.

What People Say About Me:

Here are a few words from people I have worked with over the years.
…He is a veteran journalist who was a key part of our newsroom…working with Greg was a pleasure. He is smart and dedicated, energetic, and always pleasant to co-workers and subjects of stories alike. The best thing I can say: I would hire Greg again, given the chance.

Executive Editor of the Southampton Press
Some reporters understand the significance of crime and courts coverage and issues better than others. Greg was immediately drawn to those stories, tackled them with aplomb, and helped lead the conversations in our community. He demonstrated all of the traits we were, and I suspect you are, looking for: he is responsible, intelligent, inquisitive, and has an energy that keeps him moving forward.

When I supervised Greg at Reynolds, he was well-known for eagerly meeting or beating any deadline imposed. He was a pleasure to work with, as he was always willing to work long hours to do whatever it took to satisfy the customer. Always a top performer, Greg over-delivered everything he promised. His great attitude, his hard work and his intelligence make him a great asset to any company.
